RS Carbon Fibre Rear Wing (Option)

-Make up aluminium or thin card board template each side with the four inner arch fixing holes in.

-Bolt or tape the templates in place on inner wheel arches.

-Place the wing pylons in place, making sure they are parallel and level to each other.

-Tape pylons in position and draw round them on to the template behind.

-Now remove pylons and templates and transfer template fixing hole position on to pylons before drilling out to 6.5mm.

-The pylons can be refitted and loosely secured with M6 fixing screws.

*Note you may need to centralise the pylons in rear canopy slots, do this by adding penny washers to pylons.

-Bolt wing on to pylons, while checking for level and square, before finally tightening M6 pylon fixing screws.

RS Curved Wing End Plates (Option)

The curved wing end plates are direct replacement for standard wing end plates.

RS Carbon Fibre Side Splitters (Option)

The carbon fibre side splitters are secured with M6 button head screws and rivnuts.

Side pods will come with rivnut location dimples, check these match side splitters before drilling out to 9mm to except M6 alloy rivnut insert.

Fit M6 alloy rivnut inserts before bolting up splitters.

RS Carbon Fibre Side Scoops (Option)

The side scoops are held on with brackets supplied,

-Front hooks over the side pod front lip and is held at rear with two rear brackets.

-Bond 2 part lower bracket and main upper rear bracket to fibre glass side pod with Sikaflex.

RS Carbon Fibre Rear Diffuser (Option)

The rear diffuser is secured with counter sunk M4 screws and rivnuts.

-Position the diffuser 50mm back from the number plate area each side.

-Drill the dimple hole locators through in carbon and into the rear canopy before fitting rivnuts.

-You will also need to fit 2 rivnuts going outwards from the rear canopy cut out in to carbon diffuser by the centre two ribs.

The above 2 outwards centre fixings are installed in following manner:

The 2x rivnuts are installed in the carbon diffuser first, then temporary button head screws are screwed in to both rivnuts.
Put masking tape on to GRP rear canopy in the area of the two rivnuts/screws, then put diffuser in place with couple of the outer screws before pressing down in area of the two centre rivnuts/screws to press marks in masking tape.
You can then remove diffuser and drill through masking tape screw marks on GRP.
The two screws can then be installed from engine bay side through gearbox cut out in canopy when finally installing diffuser. (There’s room for allen key but not drill!)
