-Check rear canopy to side pod adjustment
-Side pods can be spaced out to suit with aluminium strips on rear chassis plates.
The front splitter is made from 15mm Phenolic wooden board as standard or you can opt for full carbon fibre version.
-Add masking tape to splitter for marking out chassis and aero mount positions.
-Support the splitter and offer up to chassis.
-Check splitter is square to chassis and centred to front bonnet.
-Check splitter will clamp to chassis without raising the height of aero mounts.
*You may need to space splitter down from chassis with the 2mm or 3mm spacers supplied.
-Mark off aero mount position and holes for tow hook and M5 fixing screws.
-Remove splitter to drill fixing holes and counter sink.
-Refit splitter back on to chassis using the M5 counter sunk fixings.
-Once you’re happy with splitter fit you can drill off aero mount to chassis fixings and rivet.
-Fit front bonnet locator cones to splitter each side.

LEFT HAND DRIVE MIRROR MOUNTING
-Apply masking tape in the area the mirrors mounted.
-Mark the position as per photo’s.
-Transfer mirror fixing locations to masking tape and drill 6.5mm and 16mm mounting holes.
-Secure mirror with M6 button head screw and nut & locking washer supplied.
RIGHT HAND DRIVE MIRROR MOUNTING
-Apply masking tape in the area the mirrors mounted.
-Mark the position as per photo’s.
-Transfer mirror fixing locations to masking tape and drill 6.5mm and 16mm mounting holes.
-Secure mirror with M6 button head screw and nut & locking washer supplied.
Mark the centre line on the base of the mirror, between the apex of either end.
Mark the height of the mirror on the door, as shown, (340mm).
Position the mirror against the door, level with the front edge and with the face of the mirror vertical.
Draw a line around the base of the mirror, then mark the centre line on the door.
Measure the hole positions on the mirror and transfer these to the door. Accuracy is essential, since slotting the holes would result in the mirror being unstable.
Remove the door seal from the area, then drill the two 5mm holes, perpendicular to the bodywork, through both skins of the door. Also, drill 8mm holes through the outer skin of the door and through the base of the mirror, midway between the smaller holes, for the mirror wiring.
The hollow section of the door will now need to be reinforced with filler. The route of the wiring is preserved by inserting a length of plastic hose, which is removed once the filler has set.
Apply masking tape to the back of the holes and insert the plastic tube.
Mix a quantity of filler and place it in a strong plastic bag, (like the ones Ultima parts are supplied in). Cut the corner off the bag and use it to pipe filler into the holes. Work the filler into the holes as much as possible. Before the filler sets, remove any excess and clean off using cellulose thinners.
Before the filler is fully hardened, pull out the plastic hose, carefully re-drill the two fixing holes then leave it to fully cure.
On the inside of the door, counter bore the rear fixing to allow the screw head and washer to fit flush. Also, lightly counter bore the front fixing, but only the thickness of the gel coat.
Insert the screws in the mirror base, (button head at the front), until finger tight, to measure the depth of the treads. Insert the screws through the holes in the door, measure the exposed thread, then cut the screws to length, as required. If the screws are too long, the mirror will not tighten to the door and the base of the mirror may be damaged beyond repair.
The mirror can now be trial fitted. (Final fitting, glazing and wiring is done after the car is glazed).
-Put a few rivets in to hold the position .
-Fit M5 counter screw each side at rear of door opening behind rubber gasket, this can then be used to move Side Pod in and out to make the bottom of the doors align.
-Mark the door handle recess location on door and chamfer door edge to make finger clearance when lifting to open door.
